Prof. Gianluca Pontone was graduated with honors in medicine in 1997followed by post-graduate degree in cardiology and radiology and PhD inClinical Methodology in 2001, 2006 and 2014 at University of Milan, Italy. Heis currently Deputy Scientific Director and Director of PerioperativeCardiology and Cardiovascular Imaging Department and Co-director of SportCardiology Unit of Centro Cardiologico Monzino, a fully dedicated researchhospital to cardiovascular disease and Professor of Cardiology at University ofMilan. He is author of more than 680 indexed articles on international journalwith an overall H-index of 73. He is currently chairman of EACVI Industrycommittee, EACVI board member and chairman of Italian Working group ofCardiovascular Imaging of Italian Society of cardiology. He is also associateeditor of JACC, EHJCI, JCCT, Atherosclerosis and Eurointervention
