Chief Assets & Development Officer
Laia Lahoz is Chief Assets and Development Officer at Minor Hotels Europe & Americas. From her position, Laia leads the Company’s strategy in terms of asset management and develpment, reporting directly to the CEO.
Laia Lahoz holds a law degree from Pompeu Fabra University, as well as master´sdegrees in Trade Law and International Cooperation from Pompeu Fabra University and the University of Barcelona, respectively. She has extensive professional experiencein mergers & acquisitions, asset management and legal affairs.
Her professional career began at the renowned law firm Garrigues before entering the hospitality industry in 2004 as Head of the Legal Affairs Department at Hesperia Hotels.
She later became Managing Director of the Hesperia Investor Group. In 2013, following the integration of the Hesperia hotel chain into NH Hotel Group, she was appointed Senior Vice President of Portfolio Management, overseeing the company’s global asset management strategy.
In June 2017, after delivering outstanding results in her previous role, Laia was named Chief Assets and Development Officer at NH Hotel Group and joined the Executive Committee reporting directly to the CEO.
Today, following the integration of NH Hotel Group into Minor Hotels, she continues to lead the asset strategy and oversees the global expansion and development across Europe and the Americas.
